Wood Dock (Rumex sanguineus) (29/06/2020) Near entrance to Horton Wood, Small Dole. Henfield, W Sussex. The tepals (holding the fruits/warts) are long, narrow and pointed-ish at the tip (Clustered instead has rounder ended tepals, Broad-Leaved has toothed tepals and Curled are shield-shaped).

The only one that this could be confused with is Clustered Dock but that is a more substantial plant with leaves almost to the tip of the flowering stems (Wood Dock doesn't have leaves up the stem as you can see).

Wood Dock (Rumex sanguineus) (19/07/2021) West Mill Lane, Small Dole, Henfield, W Sussex. Classic leaf with a green vein, sagittate at the base. The only leaves of any dock that might be similar size are Broad-Leaved Dock but those are larger but in particular its tepals have teeth whereas this Wood Dock as per other images, does not.
