Driftway, Upper Beeding, Steyning (in garden). I believe this to be a female (and the next one is the same bird) as the bill is not as stout and the head not as chunky looking! It is also smaller than the males - see the later images.

Driftway, Upper Beeding, Steyning (in garden). Nothing else quite like them other than perhaps Jackdaws - but they have grey heads and blue eyes. Not really possible to tell males and females apart.
