Fulmar (Fulmarus glacialis) (22/04/2007) Cuckmere Haven. Not really a gull, it's in the albatross family in fact. A very distinctive bill - pink with blue bits and yellow bits and a blob on the top! Males and females are nearly identical.

Fulmar (Fulmarus glacialis) (22/04/2007) Cuckmere Haven. Apparently they defend their nests from intruders by spitting out a foul-smelling oil! Who knew - RSPB do!
